Delete the Lawrence family from that list. We have tons of info about them.
ReplyDeleteI just came across some info on A T. Stewart. Apparently he founded, not too successfully, Garden City, LI. I wouldn't do any more work on early colonial folks. If we do interesting people they should have lived in what is today Eastchester.
I just found out from the Tuckahoe Library that they have a few old newspapers on DVD: The Eastchester Citizen Bulletin for 1918-1926; the Daily Record for 1929; and the Tuckahoe Record for 1925-1931.
